I like to keep my studio very organized. All the important hand tools are within arms reach and every milkcrate (GREAT modular storage) is labeled.
The Iron Madonna off to the right isn't a religious sculpture. It's an exercise in appropriation whereby I'm stealing the aura of the Virgin. This auratic quality is physically manifested via the heat waves coming off the sculpture when it's turned on.
