Molten Iron Paintings
If the iron remains on the picture plan too long it will eventually burn through all the paper leaving the plaster backing board exposed. Due to the logistics of this evening iron pour, that's what happened here. The jury is still out regarding how this effects the overall imagery of the painting. I may elect to go back into this center area with some oil stick or pastel.
