Portfolio > Molten Iron Paintings

Here I have drawn over the entire surface with a thick layer of titanium white oil stick. This treatment was spurred by Richard Serra's drawing retrospective at the Met Museum (Summer 2010). The molten iron melted the oil and slid down the slippery surface leaving markings that are quite different from all the others. The black elements have been nicely outlined with a white accent and there is greated movement in these compositions.
